do now 5/25

What makes me want to change the world is when I see people struggling. I don't like seeing homeless people. I feel as if they deserve better and that everyone should live a good life. I want to change the world by making sure no one is out of a house

The broadcast of the highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao was hit with piracy, despite television executives' best efforts to prevent illegal viewing. Periscope and Meerkat allow users to shoot footage from their smartphones and tablets and share it on social media. Periscope's streams stay visible for 24 hours, while Meerkat's disappear when the recording ends.

Tech article may 1

It's been a windfall gain for Taser, the maker of wearable cameras and stun guns. The company reported a 50% increase in camera sales in the first quarter of 2015, compared to the same time a year ago. Taser (TSAR) said a total of 16 major U.S. cities, including Miami, Los Angeles and San Diego, have purchased its wearable cameras for their officers. The list doesn't include Baltimore. Freddie Gray's death in police custody in Baltimore is sparking debate about the transparency of those in uniform. Some critics say that if the Baltimore police had been wearing cameras, the events leading up to Gray's death would have been clearer. Baltimore's City Council proposed a bill last year to put cameras on officers. But mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake vetoed it, citing budget and implementation issues. The mayor has since been working on a police camera proposal of her own.

Facebook now has the same population as Chin. Facebook has 1.3million users and China had 1.3million residents.  That's right, both Facebook and China have a population of 1.3 billion. tech piece 3/6

The apple smart watch is already done being made. It is ready to hit the market. It is ready to hit a U.S. market where people don't really want it. It will be very hard to sell. But apple faced this same problem when it came to tablets. People didn't want the iPad, and that turned out pretty good for apple. Maybe that will happen with the apple smart watch.

Web 2.0 Multimedia Blog Post

Web 2.0 is a very good class. It will help me in the long term. Mr. Porfido is very helpful and an excellent teacher. I've had his class twice now and it has been fun both times. I expected how to utilize the internet and technology resources better.

I have learned how to put a hyper link. Also I learned how to get pictures into my blog posts. Mr. Porfido has three grade categories, Homework, classwork and projects are the three main categories. There is also a participation grades for doing things in class.

Things I enjoy about this class are the technology articles we post at the end of every week. It keeps me up to date with technology I didn't know about. I can find out about technology that I could possibly want to buy. Technology is the entire class. We use it to make presentations and post to our blogs.
