Facebook Users bored with Facebook
As many as 2⁄3 of adults in America use Facebook on a daily basis, undoubtedly making it
the most popular social networking site in the country. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean
they’ll never get bored of it. In fact, most of them did. Recent surveys show that nearly 61% of
Facebook users have voluntarily taken breaks from the social networking site. Actually nearly
20% admitted to deleting their accounts entirely. 4% stated it was for privacy reasons, the rest
just stated it was a general waste of time.
Now the site once bustling with activity, struggles to profit from its users. The company claims they will add in new features to help users do a new wide variety of things with their new graph search feature. Facebook may not be in such a great spot, but that means less distractions for me.
